End of the Richmond range - total 8 days - a rough go!
Now the final descent down to St Arnaud and two days of rest!


Out with the old...in with the new
1260 km....not too bad for one pair of boots!

A trip up to the Able Tasman and Farewell cape beaches
(reputed to be the best beaches in New Zealand)

A wonderful 'hilltop' hike to the beaches






A seal breeding ground at the base of the rocks
(totally oblivious to humans)


  
Known locally as 'The Split Apple'
(Apparently the rock was split by the sword of Zeus while
battling Neptune over the hand of Dione)

eels.....very common......these are approx. 4-5' long - can grow to 9'
.......still not sure if you can swim with them.

Going by this......I'd say not!

Back to Nelson for the Sunday Anglican service....c/w pipe organ music!....very nice!

A 1928 Cadillac.....The last Cadillac to be built with no cost restrictions!
............A gorgeous car!


My all time favorite....the 1936 front wheel drive Cord.....would not seem out of place today!
